Are you over fifty? Looking for the chance to find new interests or share old ones with friends old and new? If so, the Discovery Award may just be what you are looking for.
The award is open to anyone over 50 and resident in Angus. It allows people to explore various learning opportunities that will provide them with the excitement of new challenges.Participants set their own goals and pace to suit their level of physical ability. Working on what they want, when they want.

Discovery Award Presentation
Held in October 2010, in Fairlie House, Kirriemuir, where Alisdair Cochrane-Dyet, Sandra Livingstone, Bella Rae and Grace Stewart received their Bronze Award Certificate and Pauline Monroe received her Gold Award Certificate.
The Awards were presented by Lord Lieutenant Georgina Osborne, and also in attendance were Laurie Young (a founder member of the Discovery Award), along with some family members.
