Among the many stresses of being a carer is worrying about what would happen if something happened to you.
Angus Council operates an Emergency Carers Card Scheme for carers of people over 16 years of age, who would be at risk if something was to happen to their carer. It gives carers peace of mind by making arrangements for the person they care for to be looked after in an emergency situation - anytime of the day or night.
