Nowadays you are free to choose your gas and/or electricity supplier. You might already have been approached by one of the many companies out their trying to win your business.

You are under no obligation to change. But it is possible that you could save money by switching and/or getting all your energy from one company.

But before agreeing to change ask the following questions:

• How much will it cost?

• What methods of payment are there?

• How often will I receive bills?

• Will there be a standing charge - and if there is how much?

• How often will my meter be read?

• What additional services are offered? (ie free safety checks)
